hi my names johnathan and i just moved to this area from texas and i planned on trying to ride over spring break (march 15th -march 20th) i am equally far from midwest extreme and the challenge trax and i was wondering if they were going to be open during those times and which one would be better for me

i am used to riding a semi tight track with nice berms and a good flow to it and also some good straight aways

so far i have mostly seen midwest ext on pics and it looks nice but i feel like i haven't seen very much of it ..

so what track you you think suits me best???

  Hey Jonathan, by what you have said so far I think kingsville fits that style. Coming from texas, the first big difference will be the dirt. Kingsville is a hardpacked clay base dirt. But it is a somewhat tight, jumpy track with good berms in all the corners. Extreme is a little looser track, more spread out and outdoor style. I think you will have a good time at both tracks. For the time period you are talking about, we are looking at having challenge trax open possibly wednesday the 17th and for sure thursday the 18th. How much we can get it dried out will determine wednesday. And Extreme Park will be open Saturday and Sunday depending on the weather this weekend.

  alright man thanks thats great...well i was planning on trying to go out on thursday now to the challenge trax ....hopefully its dried out good ..i will call that number to check the conditions of the track ...but when does the track normally open and close and will i need and personal info for waivers and stuff like that ??

  You will have to sign a waiver, but just basic info needed. Most likely be open from around 2pm till dark.

  so how is the challenge track looking for thursday?? i called the info line and even tho its practice could still go ride even if im not racing??
